Smart city sensor visualization
i
We mapped a large amount of sensors in the city of Chicago to reveal the real potential of data generated by these sensors.

What did we learn?

For this map, we learned how to use 'Three.js' JavaScript 3D library in combination with MapBox to create visualizations in 3D, which can be mapped to a geo-location within the city.

Ambitions

This experiment highlights different specific parts of the city, for example by mapping the amount of noise and humidity. This way, it opens up more possibilities to use the existing data in the city that can enrich how people interact with the city.
